Objectives of Determining Eligibility
To maintain the academic standards and quality of HUIGU Academy.
To clearly inform prospective students of the entry requirements and expected learning outcomes prior to admission
To ensure students admitted into each programme have the ability and potential to successfully complete the course.
To ensure a fair, transparent, and consistent admissions process in line with HUIGU’s access and equity principles

Minimum Entry Requirements
Minimum entry requirements for admission into HUIGU Academy programmes are determined by the Academic Board. These typically include:

A prescribed minimum age requirement

A required level of English or language proficiency

Minimum academic qualifications or equivalent educational background
Admission Procedure
A. Application
Pre-course Counselling is conducted to students prior to course application and acknowledgement from student is required to ensure the pre-course counselling session conducted was informative and complete.
Applicant completes the 'Course Application Form' and submit together with the following supporting documents:
- Copy of applicant's passport
- Education certificates and transcripts
B. Eligibility Assessment
Applicants will be assessed based on the following criteria:
- Age requirement
- Academic qualifications
- Language proficiency
C. Selection
HUIGU Academy will review all applications and select candidates based on:
- Meeting the minimum entry requirements
- Academic merit and relevant prior learning experience (if applicable)
- Availability of course placement
D. Admission
Successful applicants will receive a formal Letter of Acceptance issued by HUIGU Academy.
