Postgraduate Diploma in Cross-Cultural and Health Management (Mandarin)

Overview

This curriculum adopts an innovative interdisciplinary approach that integrates traditional Chinese health culture with modern health management practices. On one hand, it draws upon the philosophical foundations of traditional Chinese wellness systems, including holistic health thinking, preventive health concepts, and the cultural wisdom embedded in classical Chinese traditions such as the Yi Jing (Book of Changes), to explore their relevance in contemporary wellbeing and management contexts.

On the other hand, the programme introduces modern principles of health management, organisational leadership, and cross-cultural practice within the global “big health” industry. Through comparative analysis, integration, and applied synthesis, the course develops a comprehensive and multi-dimensional framework for health and cross-cultural management.

Students will learn to apply these integrated perspectives across key areas such as health and wellness management, organisational leadership, service development, and strategic analysis. This equips them to operate effectively within complex, multicultural environments and to respond to the evolving demands of the global health and wellness sector with confidence and competence.
